OTTUMWA, Iowa (KYOU) -It’s a gray morning across most of Eastern Iowa with a bit more sunshine the farther northwest you go. This afternoon most of the region will be under a mostly cloudy sky, with a partly cloudy sky the farther northwest you are. A few sprinkles will be possible along and south of I-80. Highs today will rise into the mid 50s. Overnight, lows will cool into the mid to upper 30s with a partly cloudy sky. Widespread rain will come in from the south Monday morning, encompassing most of Eastern Iowa by mid to late afternoon. Widespread rain will continue through Monday night, gradually moving to the northeast. Lows Monday night will drop into the mid 40s. A few lingering showers are expected on Tuesday morning, but they should exit by mid to late morning, leaving behind a partly cloudy sky with highs in the mid 50s.
