OTTUMWA, Iowa (KYOU) -Rain, snow and ice are on the radar this morning, causing treacherous road conditions across the region. The Ice storm warning has been extended and now encompasses most of Eastern Iowa, extending as far north as Fayette and Clayton Counties. The rain, snow, and ice are now expected to continue through the afternoon and linger into the evening. Therefore, expect hazardous road conditions for the entirety of Saturday. If you have to drive today, be very careful, don’t leave without a full tank of gas and an emergency kit. The precipitation will gradually come to and end early tonight leaving behind a mostly cloudy sky. Highs on Saturday will reach the mid to upper 30s with tonight’s lows cooling into the low to mid 30s.
