WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Kansas lawmakers are expected to meet next week to consider a bill that would ban smoking in all state-owned casinos. House Bill 2622, a bipartisan bill, would amend the state’s Clean Indoor Air Act, which went into effect in 2012. It prohibits smoking in most indoor places, including restaurants and bars. However, the current law does not apply to state-owned casinos.
