FIRST WARN FORECAST: Rain moves out Sunday evening leading to a nice warm up

Rain continues to roll out on Sunday evening, but the clouds are locked in place for a bit. Those on the Kansas side, and south of I-70 in Missouri picked up the highest rainfall totals, with some spots nearing 0.75″, while KCI did not record more than a trace. Overnight, lows will drop to the lower 30s and clouds will start to break a bit. We are expecting another small warm-up on Monday after a chilly end to the weekend. Highs should climb back into the lower 50s under a partly cloudy sky. Some of our high-resolution model guidance is suggesting more sun in the afternoon. The gradual warming trend continues into midweek as a few days will be back in the 60s. We are watching for a small rain chance on Thursday, but it looks incredibly broken and scattered right now, so confidence is rather low.
