NE Kansas counties in severe thunderstorm warning

TOPEKA ( KSNT ) – The National Weather Service ( NWS ) has issued severe thunderstorm warnings for several northeast Kansas counties Tuesday, July 2.

According to the NWS, the watch will be in effect until 12 a.m. Wednesday, July 3. The following counties are in the warning:

  • Lyon County
  • Morris County

These thunderstorm warnings will be in effect until 7:30 p.m.

Flood advisories are in place for the following counties until 9:45 p.m. Tuesday night:

  • Lyon County
  • Osage County
  • Wabaunsee County
