KANSAS — A company in Neosho County is in the running for something big and cool.

It’s dubbed as the “Coolest Thing Made in Kansas – People’s Choice Tournament.”

It’s presented by the Kansas Manufacturing Council along with Forvis Mazars. Council members say over 10,000 votes were cast in the second round of the contest, naming the four best products manufactured by Kansas-based organizations.

One of them is a disc tree cutter created by CVR Manufacturing in Galesburg. The other three products are a handy hook firefighter, an air navigation aid system, and an atom popcorn popper.

You can decide which product takes home the top prize in one final round of voting now underway here .

Voting closes at 7 p.m. on October 8, and a winner will be announced the following day at the 2024 Kansas Manufacturing Summit in Wichita.
