TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – The heat returns to NE Kansas this afternoon, with highs in the middle to upper 90s possible. Humidity will be low, but when combined with strong winds, it will make for enhanced conditions for wildfires this afternoon. A red flag warning is in place from 11 AM to 8 PM across most of NE Kansas’ counties.
