Severe thunderstorm warnings in NE Kansas counties

TOPEKA ( KSNT ) – The National Weather Service (NWS) issued severe thunderstorm warnings for several northeast Kansas counties.

At 9:32 p.m., severe storm warnings have been issued for Anderson, Jefferson and Shawnee counties until 10 p.m.

The severe thunderstorm warnings for Jefferson and Shawnee counties have expired.

At 8:09 p.m. severe thunderstorm warnings have been issued for Douglas, Jefferson and Shawnee counties by the NWS. These warnings are in effect until 8:45 p.m.

At 8 p.m. the severe thunderstorm warnings for Jackson, Jefferson and Shawnee counties have expired.

At 7:35 p.m., the NWS issued severe thunderstorm warnings for Jackson, Jefferson and Shawnee counties until 8 p.m. These warnings come with the possibility of 70 miles per hour wind and .75 inch hail.

At 7:12 p.m., the NWS issued severe thunderstorm warnings for Northwestern Jefferson, Northwestern Shawnee, Central Wabaunsee, Southeastern Pottawatomie and Jackson Counties. These warnings are in effect until 7:45 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24.
