A Kansas-based family have delighted viewers online after sharing an image of the stray cat they found and later adopted while picking up a takeout pizza. “Cats get abandoned in our neighborhood pretty often, mostly males,” Katie, who wants to keep her full identity private, told Newsweek. “Last year, my wife and daughter went out to pick up pizza. My daughter spotted a kitten running next to the road, and they got out of the car to help him.”
