WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A winter storm will have ice, snow, and near blizzard conditions for the state Saturday and Sunday. A Storm Team 12 Weather Alert continues through Sunday evening and travel this weekend will be dangerous for many. Please avoid travel Saturday night and Sunday, if at all possible, as slick conditions will be a concern on most Kansas roads. Ice accumulations of .2-.5 are possible in central and south central Kansas. Heavy snow is likely in central and northern Kansas.
