NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) – For a large part of the area, it is going to a lot of cloud cover and temperatures will barely warm up because of it. There is also some thicker fog over western portions of the area this morning. While the fog goes away, the clouds will remain. The best chance of seeing some sunshine will be in Southwest Nebraska and possibly North Central Kansas. These areas will warm up the most into the 30s and lower 40s. Much of the rest of the area stuck under clouds will barely warm. Highs will range from the upper 10s northeast to the lower 30s southwest. For most of the area, it will remain cloudy tonight with some patchy fog not out of the question. Some light snow accumulation will be possible across North Central Nebraska will be possible overnight with totals up to around an inch. Lows will range from the upper 0s in far North Central Nebraska to the lower 20s in North Central Kansas. Most of the area will have lows in the 10s.
