Elizabethtown Home Destroyed After Semi Truck Collision on Nicholas Street
A semi truck drove straight into a house on Nicholas Street in Elizabethtown, Kentucky on Wednesday morning. Power lines came down with it. The street went dark, and for the people living nearby, a normal Wednesday turned into something no one planned for.
The Elizabethtown Police Department confirmed the collision happened in the 400 block of Nicholas Street on October 7, 2026. No serious injuries were reported, which, given what these crashes do to a structure, is genuinely lucky.
