After launching the Team Kentucky Medical Debt Relief Program in September, Governor Andy Beshear announced that more progress has been made toward relieving $250 million in medical debt.
The program was developed by an executive order signed by Beshear on September 15. As of Thursday’s Team Kentucky Update, he says the program has erased $153 million in medical debt for more than 67,000 Kentuckians.
