BOWLING GREEN, KY.- For many children, when school is out for the summer finding healthy food isn’t always easy, but this summer, all that’s about to change. Thanks to a summer EBT program created by the USDA families with children in grades k through twelve will be able to apply for the program and receive forty dollars a month to go towards healthy food options. Nearly 600,000 children who normally don’t have access to healthy food will now be able to receive nutritious food options this summer.
