New bill would largely ban cell phones in Kentucky classrooms

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WKYT) – A new bill could largely ban the use of cell phones in Kentucky classrooms. The bill’s sponsor says the idea came from a teacher. “Teachers want to do a really good job, and you can’t, you can’t teach distracted kids,” said Representative Josh Bray, R-Mount Vernon.
