After a deadly drone attack in Jordan killed three U.S. soldiers over the weekend, authorities have announced Kentuckian soldiers weren’t injured.
According to a post on X, formerly Twitter, from Gov. Andy Beshear (D-KY), all Kentucky soldiers stationed there are safe.

“While, as a state, we do not typically disclose the location of our Kentucky guard, last night federal National Guard leadership released information stating that our Kentucky National Guard members are serving at the same base,” the post said. “We are thankful that all Kentucky soldiers are accounted for and are either unhurt or have returned to duty. This was an attack on our country, and I am proud that Kentuckians are standing against the true enemies of our nation.”
Beshear continued, saying those injured in the Tower 22 attack in Northeast Jordan were from the Fort Moore, Georgia-based Army Reserve.
According to USA Today, the Department of Defense identified the three U.S. soldiers killed in the Iran-backed attack at the Jordan base, near the Syrian border, on Monday. The incident occurred on Sunday after an unmanned attack drone hit their housing units.
