(WOWK) — Rain and snow are expected to change to all snow late Friday which could have an impact for anyone trying to travel late Friday or early Saturday. See the slideshow below for an idea of the arrival of the storm system.
Key to this weather event will be the road temperatures. This should be a wet kind of snow but the road surface temperatures should be warm enough for much of the snow to melt as it falls on the warmer road surface. See our exclusive Future Road Temperature forecast below.
By Saturday morning road temperatures should be still close to the freezing mark while the air temps will fall below freezing and into the mid 20s. Watch for icy patches or areas where snow covers the road.
