Former Wildcat sets world record at U.S. Olympic Trials

(WYMT) – Reigning Olympic Champion Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone set a new world record in the 400-meter hurdles during the U.S. Olympic Team Trials for track and field on Sunday. McLaughlin-Levrone, who competed for Kentucky from 2017-2018, broke her own world record (50.68) when she clocked in at 50.65 to punch her ticket to Paris.
