Amidst a housing shortage in the Commonwealth, a Bath County woman recently moved into her new home with some help from a local organization. Elda Bowen is the proud guardian of her three great-grandchildren. Last month she and her family stood on the front porch of their new home and cut a red ribbon, officially welcoming them home. Bowen said she had a positive experience working with Frontier Housing, based in Rowan County.
