Kentucky fugitive arrested after stabbing in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A fugitive wanted in Kentucky is now in the Davidson County jail after of a stabbing south of downtown Nashville Thursday.

The stabbing happened around 6:15 p.m. near the intersection of Fairfield Avenue and Lafayette Street.

Spring Hill police searching for armed man

Metro police reported the victim has non-life threatening injuries.

According to court documents, 46-year-old Marcel Winters was identified as a the stabbing suspect.

Metro police officers found Winters had an outstanding warrant out of Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was booked into the Metro jail and charged for being a fugitive from justice.

He is being held on a $200,000 bond and will be extradited back to Kentucky.
