Louisiana Woman and Family Members Accused of Torching 13 Rental Homes for Insurance Money

A federal indictment in Louisiana has laid out an extraordinary alleged insurance-fraud operation in which seven people are accused of deliberately setting fire to 13 rental homes across Monroe and West Monroe between 2019 and 2026, then attempting to turn the destruction into insurance and disaster-relief payouts.
