SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – Louisiana lawmakers recently created a new congressional map that could change voting in NWLA. The new District 6 starts in south Caddo, runs through Natchitoches, Alexandria and ends in Baton Rouge. Lawmakers were tasked with making the map after a judge said a previous one violated the Voting Rights Act.
