CYPRESS, La. (KALB) – Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office reportedly arrested a man wanted in two states, Louisiana & Texas, following a traffic stop on I-49. Deputies patrolling south of Natchitoches on I-49 pulled over an SUV speeding 96 mph in a posted 75 mph speed zone at around 4:30 pm on Friday, June 28. While speaking with deputies, the man reportedly gave a family member’s name instead of his own. Deputies discovered that the name was false using the mobile data terminal inside their patrol car and arrested the man.
