As excerpted from the report: Winn Dixie is closing its location in Metairie, a suburb of New Orleans, Louisiana. The closure is happening because Aldi bought all Winn-Dixie and other stores owned by Southeastern Grocers Inc., including Harveys Supermarkets, in August.
