NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Hurricane Beryl has left a trail of destruction as it heads toward the Yucatan Peninsula and eventually the southwestern Gulf of Mexico. For people in Louisiana, just hearing about a storm threatening the Gulf can be triggering. That’s understandable considering the state’s history with storms.
