BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Gov. Jeff Landry and the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries requested an expansion to harvest Black-bellied whistling ducks. Landry and LDWF Secretary Madison Sheahan sent a letter to the Director of the United States Fish and Wildlife Service Martha Williams asking for the expansion of harvest opportunities.
