BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Governor Jeff Landry confirmed on Tuesday the White House has approved a major disaster declaration for Louisiana. This means the state will get federal assistance to help pay for recovery efforts such as temporary housing, home repairs, low-cost loans, and other programs to help you get back on your feet.
