LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) – A Louisiana National Guardsman died Sunday, state officials announced. Sgt. William Mitchell Benham, 32, of Folsom, was assigned as a fire team leader to A Company, 3rd Battalion, 156th Infantry Regiment, 256th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, according to a news release from the Louisiana National Guard. Benham was in Title 32 status conducting inactive duty training at Fort Johnson.
