BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – 55 new cadets have recently graduated from the Louisiana State Police Training Academy after 24 weeks of training. Each cadet goes through extensive training courses that consist of crash investigations, emergency vehicle operations, impaired driving detections, fair and impartial policing, legal updates, advanced firearms training, leadership skills and a rigorous physical training regimen.
