Two Louisiana women charged with aggravated assault in Mississippi

ADAMS COUNTY, Miss. ( WJTV ) – Two Louisiana women were charged with aggravated assault in Adams County.

Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten said Baleigh Rayborn, 24, and Sunshine Robertson, 22, both of Ferriday, Louisiana, turned themselves in to the sheriff’s office on October 9 after arrest warrants were issued for them.

Rayborn and Robertson have been charged with aggravated assault: manifesting extreme indifference to human life.

Patten said the victim in the incident reported she had been assaulted on Beau Pre Road in Adams County on October 1.

Rayborn was released on a $50,000 bond, and Robertson is being held on a $50,000 bond.
