Women from Louisiana Turn Themselves in For Aggravated Assault in Mississippi

Two women from Louisiana have turned themselves in after arrest warrants were issued for them in Adams County in Mississippi.

According to Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten, the two women, Baleigh Rayborn, age twenty four, and Sunshine Robertson, age twenty two, turned themselves in on October 9th, 2024.

The women, both of Ferriday, Louisiana, were both charged with aggravated assault: manifesting extreme indifference to human life.

The victim in the incident made a statement that claimed she was assaulted on Beau Pre Road in Adams County. The event took place on October 1, 2024. A video of the assault has surfaced and circulated on social media, showing Rayborn using her fists as well as one of the victim’s crutches to beat her, while Robertson was seen using her fists to beat the victim as well as dragging her around by her hair.

Rayborn was released on a bond of $50,000, while Robertson is being held on a $50,000 bond.
