It’s time for it to feel like fall in Louisiana and we may soon get a strong cold front in the Deep South.
For weeks many in the Deep South have asked, “Where’s the cooler weather?” Well, according to Blake Matthews, a strong cold front will reach the south in a few days, and we can expect a noticeable change in temperatures by November 18th or 19th.
Sure, things can change in the extended forecast, but let’s hope for cooler days and nights as we approach Thanksgiving.
It’s so difficult to get into the “holiday spirit” when temperatures are in the 80s, but with the projected changes, perhaps we will all soon be able to get into the spirit of the holidays.
So yes, keep the gumbo pots out and perhaps we will all soon be able to enjoy a fire outdoors as this cold front sweeps across our region.
