Louisiana State Police arrest man in death of Washington Parish school board member

Louisiana State Police have arrested a man they say sold drugs to a Washington Parish school board member and political candidate, who later overdosed. Frankie Crosby Sr., 67, died on Oct. 6, according to Franklinton police, who found him dead in his vehicle in the 1400 block of Parker Street. He’d taken a lethal combination of cocaine and fentanyl, according to the Washington Parish coroner.
