KNF has two bald eagle nest cams. At the E-3 nest 2 eggs have been laid. The eagles at this nest have been named Alex and Andria II.
First egg laid 12/23/24, 2nd egg laid 12/26/24
Bald eagles typically incubate their eggs for an average of 35 days before the first egg hatches. January 26th will be about the right timeframe to see a hatch.

Watch a mating pair of Bald Eagles named Alex II(male) and Andria II(female). The nest and PTZ cams are located in a Loblolly pine tree near Kincaid Lake in the Kisatchie National Forest. The cams have been set-up and are maintained by the U.S. Forest service. Nesting usually starts in October followed by egg laying in mid to late November.
