MARYLAND – Renewable Energy company Orsted has announced it will withdraw its plans to build wind turbines off the coast of Maryland. In a release from the company, they say part of the decision comes as fulfilling the orders for their proposed projects were no longer commercially viable due to factors such as inflation, high interest rates, and supply chain constraints.
