Maryland Governor Shotguns Beer with Ravens Fans To Prep for AFC Game

Wes Moore crushes it outside stadium as he hails sports for bringing people together

Maryland Gov. Wes Moore, D, turned up Sunday at the American Football Conference Championship game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Kansas City Chiefs — and had some fun with tailgaters ahead of time.

Moore joined fans outside the M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore and jumped at the chance to shotgun a beer when one fan floated the idea.

“We do this for the best f—king team the planet has ever created: the Baltimore Ravens!” a fan says in a pre-drinking speech, to which Moore offered a thumbs up.

Moore shotgunned his beer, crushed the can, high-fived some fans, and then made his way into the game that determines who represents the AFC in this year’s Super Bowl .

Moore has been excitedly promoting the Baltimore game as it’s the first AFC title match the city has hosted since 1970.

“This is a way for giving us something to distract us from the every day, from the divisiveness and say we all have a chance to unite around this,” Moore recently told WTOP .
