Gas prices bounce back up 18 cents in Maryland

Average gasoline prices in Maryland have risen 17.7 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.23 per gallon Monday, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 2,167 stations in Maryland. Prices in Maryland are 3.7 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 28.9 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has declined 1.2 cents in the last week and stands at $3.54 per gallon.

According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Maryland was priced at $2.75 per gallon Sunday while the most expensive was $3.89 per gallon, a difference of $1.14per gallon.

The national average price of gasoline has risen 1.4 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.17 per gallon today. The national average is down 15.4 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 63.8 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.
