Man found shot on I-95 in Maryland, MSP investigating

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Maryland State Police (MSP) said all northbound lanes on Interstate 95 were shut down after a man was found shot Monday morning.

Details are limited; however, state police believe the 28-year-old man was shot just after 4:30 a.m. on Nov. 18.

When police arrived, they located him outside of his vehicle on I-95.

He was taken to the shock trauma unit for treatment. His condition is unknown as of Monday morning.

As of 6:24 a.m., I-95 North and Route 198 were closed as police continued their investigation.

Drivers can expect significant delays in this area and are encouraged to find alternative routes.
