A Massachusetts woman is rejoicing after recently hitting a big State Lottery prize that appears to be changing her life in the best way.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Melanie Fortin of Methuen is the winner of a $651,767 prize on a $1 bet while playing “Timber Wolf,” an online-only eInstant game available through Mass Lottery Online.
She claimed her $651,767 prize (before taxes) at the Mass Lottery’s headquarters in Dorchester. When claiming her prize, Fortin said, “it’s definitely going to be a big help for me and my family!” She plans on putting her winnings towards an engagement ring as well as family expenses…
