(MA) Meet the beautiful Plott Hound mix pup, Whiskey Walker! This sweetheart has overcome past trauma with the help of the rescue organization Great Dog Rescue New England. She will shortly be transported to Massachusetts, where she hopes to find her furever family.
What Past Trauma Did Whiskey Overcome
According to Great Dog Rescue New England, Whiskey was one of nine dogs living tied to a stake in the ground. She spent her life outdoors and never knew the comforts of a warm bed or even a warm home. To make things truly unforgivable, when her human “family” moved to a new home, they left Whiskey and the others behind.
Now safely living with a foster, Whiskey has learned to embrace the comforts of a good home. Though she was afraid of it at first, Whiskey’s foster sat with her on her new dog bed until she became comfortable with it. Now she loves it but is still willing to share.

Whiskey is a 3-year-old Plott Hound mix breed who weighs approximately 42 pounds. She has a short coat length which is brindle in color. Whiskey is spayed and fully up to date on her vaccinations.
