Winter Storm Watch in effect for western Massachusetts Monday

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for Hampden County, eastern Hampshire and Franklin Counties, and southern Berkshire County from Monday night until Tuesday night.

How often does western Massachusetts see record breaking warm temperatures?

Sunday looks dry and mild with partly sunny skies and temperatures in the mid to upper 40s.

Sunday night will see mostly cloudy skies with temperatures in the 20s. We’ll have sunshine and clouds on Monday with highs in the 40s.

Tuesday morning will see heavy snow until the late morning/ early afternoon. Snow totals could be between 6-12″.
