(MA) Meet the beautiful and loving German Shepherd mix Cookie! Like with so many rescues, this one-year-old sweetheart suffered abandonment at the hands of her awful humans. In addition to abandoning Cookie in the Mississippi Delta, her former “owners” left her trapped in a crate on a hot summer day. Thankfully safe now in rescue, Cookie will shortly be heading to Massachusetts where she hopes to start her new life.

Cookie is a one-year-old German Shepherd mix breed who weighs approximately 45 pounds. She has a short coat length which is sable and black in color. Cookie is spayed and fully up to date on her vaccinations.
Cookie is described by her foster mom as, “such a beautiful gal with the absolute cutest ears. She is wonderful petite size too, only coming up to about my knee. Cookie is loving, funny, playful and very smart.”
She is an active dog who enjoys going on hikes. She also loves playing with other dogs and is good with pups of all ages and sizes. That love extends to humans, including children.
