SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (WWLP) – South Hadley police are warning residents about a jury duty scheme.
They say con artists are calling and emailing residents demanding they pay a fee or face arrest for missing jury duty. They claim to be a judge or other court official and ask you for personal information or payment.

Police want residents to know that state and federal courts never ask for that kind of information over the phone or email. If think you missed jury duty you can call the state directly to check at 1-800-843-5879.
As always never give out any personal information over the phone or email.
