A Massachusetts man hiking with his family in the White Mountains died Tuesday after suffering a medical emergency on the trail, New Hampshire authorities said. The hiker, a 52-year-old man from Topsfield, was traversing the Kinsman Ridge Trail in Franconia Notch at the time of the incident, according to the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department.
