Sandy Paws Rescue Inc., a foster-based dog rescue in Massachusetts, recently introduced a small dog named Rusty who is looking for his forever home. Weighing in at only 15lb, Rusy is described as being a “sweet little senior Yorkie mix, thought to be around 10 years old”. Rusty was found as a stray but is so well-behaved that he is thought to have been a loving house pet at one point in his life.
“He is the sweetest lap dog you could ever hope for! He’s so lovable, and is content to sit in his bed, or with his person. He’s super dog friendly and appears to be potty trained (not a single accident so far),” explains Sandy Paws Rescue. Rusty is currently on his way to Massachusetts and will be available to adopt as early as Monday, September 23rd.
Sandy Paws Rescue Inc. requires that anyone interested in adopting must submit an application to them. As a foster-based rescue based in Massachusetts, they don’t have a shelter location, and visits with dogs are by appointment only. Their dogs reside in private homes or kennels until adoption.
