SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) – A strong solar storm created quite the sight over western Massachusetts Thursday night. Northern lights were seen across many communities in the area and might be seen as far south in the U.S. as the lower Midwest and Northern California, though exact locations and times are uncertain, according to NOAA.
