Massachusetts Leads the Way in America’s Best Hospitals for 2025, Prestigious Ranking Finds

Massachusetts is home to the top hospitals in the nation, with Boston-based facilities claiming the top spots in Newsweek’s America’s Best-in-State Hospitals 2025 rankings. Highlighting 700 leading hospitals across the U.S., the rankings reflect data from sources like the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and nationwide patient experience surveys.

Massachusetts General Hospital takes the #1 spot, followed closely by Brigham and Women’s Hospital at #2 and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center at #3. The Bay State dominates, with eight of its hospitals, including Tufts Medical Center and UMass Memorial Medical Center, ranking among the state’s top ten.
