Sandy Paws Rescue Inc., a foster-based rescue organization in Massachusetts, has recently introduced an adorable 6-month-old Boerboel Mastiff puppy named Ronnie. This 60 lb pup was confiscated from a breeder through no fault of his own along with his four siblings, and is now searching for a loving home. “He is looking for a breed-experienced bestie to start a new life with,” explains the nonprofit animal rescue that is helping Ronnie and his siblings find their forever family.
Sandy Paws Rescue describes Ronnie as a bundle of joy, brimming with “playful puppy energy and curiosity.” His friendly disposition extends not just to humans but also to cats and other dogs, making him a versatile companion for various household dynamics. “He is super cuddly!” the rescue enthusiastically notes, highlighting Ronnie’s affectionate nature.
Despite his large size, Ronnie embodies the gentle giant archetype. He’s currently honing his skills in housebreaking, potty training, and leash walking. The rescue emphasizes that Ronnie’s future family should be “committed to consistent training,” ensuring he grows into a well-mannered adult dog.
