(MA) Meet a dog named Snoop, who was recently rescued from a tough situation. Snoop is a two-year-old Chihuahua and Dachshund mix pup who came into Great Dog Rescue New England’s care after being rescued from “a sad hoarding case”. Though she is understandably shy and quiet after her past experiences, Snoop has been doing very well since entering rescue care. She is currently living with a foster family, as she patiently awaits the next chapter of her life to begin.
More Information On Snoop
Snoop is a 2-year-old Chihuahua and Dachshund mix pup, also known as a “Chiweenie”. She weighs, as of 11/16/24, approximately 8 pounds. Snoop has a short coat length which is listed as being brown, chocolate, and golden in color. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.
According to Great Dog Rescue New England, Snoop is a “very, very sweet” little girl who is still getting used to her new surroundings. Having lived through a hoarding situation, Snoop is still a bit quiet and shy, and as such would do best with a patient person or family who can “help build her confidence and break her out of her shy shell.” For this reason, GDRNE recommends she go to either a child-free or at least a quieter home. While Snoop does just fine with other dogs, GDRNE isn’t sure how she would react to larger pups.
