Sandy Paws Rescue Inc., a dedicated foster-based dog rescue in Massachusetts, has recently introduced a small two-year-old dog named Owen who is searching for his forever home. Weighing only thirteen pounds, Owen is described as a “spunky little cutie”.
Since arriving at his foster home, Owen has already shown that he responds well to commands, comes when called, and has shown excellent house training skills. His foster family explains that this makes him “trustworthy in the house.’
One of Owen’s most endearing qualities is his affectionate personality. “He enjoys snuggling with his people and doesn’t mind being held,” explains Sandy Paws Rescue. His joyful and sweet nature shines through in all his interactions.
When it comes to socialization, Owen has shown positive interactions with dogs of similar size. However, his compatibility with larger dogs and cats remains unknown, so potential adopters should take this into consideration. His small size and friendly demeanor make him an excellent candidate for apartments or homes with limited space.
